Writethru: Cameroon train crash kills several, injures hundreds

NAIROBI, Aug. 30 (Xinhua) -- At least five people were killed and 220 others injured on Saturday in another train accident in two days near Cameroon's capital Yaounde, according to a communique released by Camrail.

Up to 1,000 passengers were on board the train when the accident occurred at 7:10 a.m. (0610 GMT). The train was coming from Ngaoundere, about 700 km north of Yaounde.
