St. Anthony Hospital now houses a "heart hospital" dedicated to
treatment of cardiovascular disease.
"We believe the heart deserves a new approach to medical care and
we are committed to providing every patient with the best care and
treatment medical science has to offer," St. Anthony President
Valinda Rutledge said Wednesday.
Other health care providers are also at work on similar
facilities, such as the Oklahoma Heart Hospital under construction
east of Mercy Health Center at the north edge of Oklahoma City. That
204,000-square-foot hospital is slated to open next spring.
