SENIOR SDLP figure Dr Alasdair McDonnell today launched a
ferocious attack on Sinn Fein -- accusing it of selling its soul to
win "power at all costs".
In a remarkable opinion article, the party's deputy leader
outlined scathing criticism for Sinn Fein which he said was facing
"deep inner turmoil".
Writing in today's Irish News, Dr McDonnell accused the
republican party of selling its soul for "power at all costs" and
pushing Northern Ireland to the brink of a "virtual dictatorship
with the DUP".
He also branded Gerry Adams a "political liability" who will be
sacrificed in favour of "sharp-suited, chauffeur-driven" Conor
Murphy.
