Article: Eagle, East Troy postal carrier routes to move to Mukwonago

As of Sept. 26, all postal carrier routes from Eagle and East Troy will be consolidated to the Mukwonago Post Office. Although no postal workers will lose their jobs, it may mean customers in both Eagle and East Troy will receive their mail later in the day.

This consolidation is one of 53 such shifts since December, said Marge Oehlke, with the Postal Service's corporate communications office in Milwaukee.

"What we are doing and have been doing since December of 2008 is deliver unit relocations," she said. "You take the carriers from one office and move them to a neighboring office."
