Tokyo, Sept 2, 2009 - (JCN) - Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd.
recently concluded a long-term iron ore transport agreement with the
Anshan Iron and Steel Group (based in Anshan City, Liaoning
Province, China) to transport Australian iron ore using capesize
bulk carriers.
Approximately 10-year agreement to transport iron ore from
Australia to China using 170,000-ton bulk carriers, starting in
October 2009, with an annual transport volume of approximately 1.5
million tons
The Anshan Iron and Steel Group has joined together with the
Benxi Iron and Steel Group, also based in Liaoning Province, to form
