Primaries coming

Statewide primary elections for both parties will be held Sept. 15.

There will be contested Republican primaries in each Monroe County assembly district for the state committee, judicial delegates and alternate judicial delegates, according to the state Board of Elections, which lists the candidates on its Web site, www.elections.state.ny.us, under "2009 Elections." State legislators are not up for election this year.
