MANCHESTER - Margaret Peaslee Danforth, 91, died peacefully and
unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, at Elliot Hospital.
Mrs. Danforth was born Aug. 19, 1918, in Concord to Roy and Alta
(Hall) Peaslee.
Mrs. Danforth was a graduate of Concord High School, Class of
1936, and of the University of Maine at Orono, Class of 1940, where
she was an active member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Following
graduation, she worked in Aroostook County, Maine, as a home
demonstration agent. She married Ralph E. Danforth in March 1943.
After World War II, she taught high school in Indiana while her
husband completed college.
She and her husband lived in Concord, Keene and Manchester. In
