For most of us, back-to-school memories are inextricably linked
with new clothes. Maybe it was the Buster Brown oxfords your mom
insisted on buying every year, or turtlenecks and Tuffskins. Maybe
you got a new school uniform each August, or a single pair of
Jordache jeans. Whatever the style, those crisply folded clothes
marked summer's end and school's beginning, even if the temperature
still hovered in the 80s. This year, there's plenty of cute kidswear
to be had: some of it '60s inspired, some straight off the
