On Wednesday morning, South Charleston High students lined up for a yearly tradition.

At 10 a.m., advance tickets for the much-anticipated football game against George Washington High went on sale.

The two squads met last year for the Class AAA championship on Wheeling Island, with South Charleston coming out the winner.

This year, both teams have championship aspirations again. In the most recent Daily Mail football poll, South Charleston is ranked No. 1 and George Washington is No. 2.
