MILLERSBURG -- Livestock auction visitors Thursday threw out bids
for hogs, goats and lambs at the Holmes County Fair. Listed below
are the shower, buyer and price:
Lambs
The grand champion lamb, shown by Gretchen Straits, was purchased
for $4 a pound for a total of $540 by Millersburg Ice Co. The
reserve grand champion lamb, shown by Emily Sprang, was purchased by
Monitor Bank and attorney Paul Miller for $3.50 a pound for a total
of $490.
There were 22 lambs sold that brought a total price of $4,398.85.
Other lambs sold for:
Derek Reusser, Holmes Pest Control, $165.60; Allison Sprang,
Sugar Valley Meats, $148.50; Elizabeth Overholt, Rodhe's IGA Market
