Article: Hogs, goats and lambs bring out buyers on Thursday

MILLERSBURG -- Livestock auction visitors Thursday threw out bids for hogs, goats and lambs at the Holmes County Fair. Listed below are the shower, buyer and price:

Lambs

The grand champion lamb, shown by Gretchen Straits, was purchased for $4 a pound for a total of $540 by Millersburg Ice Co. The reserve grand champion lamb, shown by Emily Sprang, was purchased by Monitor Bank and attorney Paul Miller for $3.50 a pound for a total of $490.

There were 22 lambs sold that brought a total price of $4,398.85.
