MILLERSBURG -- On the auction block Friday were steers, poultry
and rabbits at the Holmes County Fair. Listed below are the shower,
buyer and price:
Dairy Feeder
The grand champion dairy feeder, shown by Lorraine Strouse, was
purchased for $1.75 a pound ($1,226.75) by Country Craft Cupboard.
The reserve champion, shown by William Hughes, was purchased by Agri
Trac Equipment for $2.10 a pound ($1444.80).
There were 27 animal sold for a total price of $16,450.86.
Other dairy feeders sold for:
Peter Crone, Commercial & Savings Bank, $749.10; Hailey Schlegel,
