Article: Green Hornets: 100-pound Hornet gridders shut out Cape St. Claire, 13-0, in opener

The saying goes, "defense wins championships," and that's exactly what the 100-pound B Green Hornets football team had in mind during their season opener against Cape St. Claire last Sunday.

The Hornets held Cape to only 2 yards in a shutout victory, 13- 0, with two rushing touchdowns on Severna Park High School turf. Most impressive about the Hornet's performance is the players pulled it off with very little football experience.
