Chino City Council Tuesday meeting update

The Chino City Council on Tuesday unanimously approved several motions, among them:

- A contract with San Bernardino County for the Roswell Avenue rehabilitation project from Chino Avenue to Walnut Avenue at a cost of $25,500 from the Transportation Fund.

- A cooperative agreement with San Bernardino County at a cost of $27,345 for traffic signal upgrades and street improvements on Chino Avenue at Pipeline Avenue.

- Monetary support from council members, with Mayor Dennis Yates donating $10,000 to the city centennial celebration, and Councilman Glenn Duncan donating $1,000 for the Chino Valley YMCA.
