Former employees of Precision Technology in Pembroke, which
closed its doors without warning last week, will receive back pay
today.
The attorney general's office reached an agreement late yesterday
with Greystone Business Credit, Precision's principal creditor, to
provide the 130 laid-off workers with back pay they were owed when
the company shut down.
The printing company, located on Sheep Davis Road, closed
abruptly the night of Aug. 27. Workers arrived Friday morning to
find security guards, hired by Greystone, blocking them from
entering the warehouse.
