Article: Md. Public Service Commission hears both sides on Constellation Energy deal

Marylanders spoke passionately for and against the nuclear deal between Constellation Energy Group Inc. and a French energy firm at a packed public hearing before regulators.

The Public Service Commission held the Wednesday night event, the first of three designed to give citizens a voice on Constellation's pending deal to sell nearly half its nuclear business to Electricite de France. The PSC's review of the $4.5 billion joint venture will determine if it is in the public interest.
