CHEYENNE - Family members and friends described local business owner Kevin J. Gill as quick-witted, well liked and a guy who didn't have anything bad to say about anyone. Gill passed away from a cardiac arrest Friday while hiking in Colorado. It was a shock to those who knew him best.

He was 44.

Gill was co-owner of Gill Window Company with his father, Nick, and brother, Mike, for 22 years.

He was a practical joker, Mike Gill said, and could relate to people of all ages.

"If he didn't know you, he hadn't had the chance to meet you yet," Mike Gill said.

Kevin Gill passed away while hiking Quandary Peak in central Colorado. The Associated Press ...
