Our word 'metaphysics' derives from an editorial decision by one
Andronicus of Rhodes. It was he who set himself the task of ordering
Aristotle's works and he who decided to group certain writings of
Aristotle under the title Ta meta ta phusika, or 'the writings that
come after the [book called the] Physics'. These writings dealt with
topics such as being, substance and potentiality, but were unrelated
to the Physics ...
