Somewhere around 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 19, disc jockey Jim "J.D. the
D.J." Dudas will cue Larry Chance and the Earls on his CD player and
the sounds of their 1962 hit, "Remember Then," will fill the social
hall at the Donora Municipal Building.
When it does, graduates of Donora and Monongahela Valley Catholic
high schools from the 1960s and '70s will fill the dance floor.
"That will be as fitting a song as any," Bill Polacheck said of
the Earls' signature tune. "We're looking forward to remembering a
lot from back then."
Polachek is a member of the committee organizing the unique
reunion and oldies dance. It is open to all graduates of Donora and
Mon Valley Catholic from the years 1960 to 1979.
