The reservation deadline to attend Dance for a Cure, the second
annual benefit dinner, dance and silent auction to fight diabetes,
is Wednesday, Sept. 9, reports event coordinator Rhonda Edgecomb.
The fundraiser will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Jeff's
Catering in Brewer.
Tickets are $20 each and must be purchased in advance, Edgecomb
said.
You can purchase your tickets by calling her at 299-4100 or by e-
mailing FightDiabetes09@aol.com.
Edgecomb's invitation urges attendees to "dig out your favorite
dancing shoes and join us for a fabulous event for a great cause,"
adding that disc jockey services will be "generously donated by Back
Door Dance Studio" of Eddington.
