Article: Film fest will roll out prime cuts Schedule for Milwaukee event coming out at party

A film festival is like a meal, and Milwaukee Film will release the menu for its debut festival at a program book party Tuesday at the InterContinental Hotel, 139 E. Kilbourn Ave.

The menu includes film around the world and around the corner, parties and appearances by filmmakers.

Programs will be available at the book party, which runs from 5 to 8 p.m. Single tickets for the festival, which runs from Sept. 24 through Oct. 4, go on sale Thursday at the Oriental Theatre, 2230 N. Farwell Ave. Films will be shown at the Oriental and the Marcus North Shore Cinema in Mequon.
