Both of Wauwatosa East's cross country teams had respectable finishes as a team and individually at the Betz Memorial Cross Country Invitational hosted by West Allis Hale at Greenfield Park on Friday.

The East boys cross country team had two top-20 finishes as the Red Raiders finished eighth out of 16 teams; the girls had four runners in the top 26 and finished sixth out of 16 teams.

The boys had 196 points, while Appleton East won the event with 68 points.
