Forgive Indian Summer organizers if they can't help saying
they're taking their festival to new heights this year.
Like, 60 feet above the ground.
With pole "fliers" swirling high in the air and an array of new
performers, "I think this is our best entertainment lineup in 15
years. We've got some really cool acts," says Marie Collom, Indian
Summer's entertainment director.
The festival, which runs Friday through Sunday, mixes the
modern with the historical. "Indian Summer wants to show not only
the traditional feathers and beads but the contemporary," Collom
says.
