SIDMOUTH 5 EXETER CHIEFS 15 EXETER Chiefs went in at half-time
with a deserved 10-0 lead thanks to tries from right wing Mitchel
Charles and scrum-half Jack Leech.
In the second half Sidmouth replied with a try from a close range
penalty, but it was the Chiefs who finished the stronger with a late
Christian Howell try securing a 15-5 victory.
. Exeter's second friendly of the week was against Bridgwater at
Sandy Park.
The Chiefs ran in four first half tries, which were all converted
by fly-half Daniel Mugford to give them a 28-0 lead at the break.
