David Gautier Sr. of Radford, Va., and formerly of Giles County, Va., departed this life Monday evening, September 7, 2009 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Radford. Born in Giles County on November 7, 1941, he was a son of the late Willie Ballard and Ercelle Odessa Davis Gautier. He was retired from production work at Corning Glass Works in Blacksburg and was a member of the Montgomery County Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Beulah Martin and Edna Martin; his brothers, Buster Gautier, Willie Gautier Jr., Richard Gautier, Dan Gautier, and Rufus Gautier; and a sister-in-law, Fran Gautier. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 43 ...
