Roundup: Tokyo stocks fall for third straight day

TOKYO, Sept. 4 (Xinhua) -- Tokyo stocks fell Friday for the third straight trading day on caution ahead of upcoming U.S. jobs data and the Group of 20 finance ministers meeting.

The benchmark Nikkei-225 index Stock Average lost 27.53 points, or 0.27 percent, from Thursday to 10,187.11.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 7.03 points, or 0.75 percent, to 935. 74.

Decliners were led by securities, iron and steel, and glass and ceramics issues. Major gainers included real estate, oil and coal product, and auto issues
