To help it emerge from bankruptcy, SemGroup would tap a Pentagon
consultant who helped rebuild Iraq's oil sector.
Former Chevron and Colonial Pipeline executive Norm Szydlowski
would head the reorganized Tulsa energy firm under a proposal now
before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court.
The Delaware court will consider the proposed SemGroup executive
team and its reorganization plan next month, officials said
Wednesday. If approved, Szydlowski would help SemGroup leave
bankruptcy proceedings in November on its quest to become a publicly
traded company.
Joining him would be:
* John F. Chlebowski as chairman, beginning his term when
