Jeanette Minns visits HAREWOOD HOUSE and the YORKSHIRE
PLANETARIUM
A FAMILY DAY: McVean outside Why go? I haven't been to a
planetarium since I was a little girl and was intrigued to see what
the Yorkshire version would have to offer. As it's located within
the grounds of Harewood House, it seemed an ideal way to spend a day
out.
For the kids The first thing that struck me as we arrived in the
car park at Harewood House was the adventure playground area located
just yards away. This maze of slides, climbing frames, walkways and
swings certainly grabbed the attention of my 11-year-old niece,
Alex, too, who couldn't wait to get over there.
