Article: Child molestation count against Festus man gets reversed by Mo. Court of Appeals Eastern District

The Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District has reversed judgment on one count of first-degree child molestation against a Festus man.

A Jefferson County jury convicted Billie R. Hale on 11 counts of various sex offenses against four female minors. All were between the ages of 10 and 12 at the time of the charged offenses.

Hale was charged with six counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree, three counts of child molestation in the first degree, and two counts of statutory rape in the first degree. The charged offenses took place between 1998 and 2004.
