A 47-year-old Springfield man received $10,390 in a verdict for injuries he sustained in a November 2003 motor vehicle collision.

Robert Hood was rear-ended at the corner of Battlefield and South Campbell Avenue in Springfield by Abby Quinn. Following the accident, he complained of back pain, visited the emergency room the day after the accident and sought physical therapy. Hood claimed therapy did not fully resolve his pain, however. He also claimed his pain ultimately forced to quit his job as a full-time project manager to become self-employed as a part-time project manager in order to reduce the hours he was working.
