China defeats Chinese Taipei in Asian women's volleyball championship

HANOI, Sept. 11 (Xinhua) -- China defeated Chinese Taipei 3-0 here on Friday in a quarterfinal match of the Asian women's volleyball championship.

Chinese Taipei seemed to have a good start in the very early minutes of the opening set. The following minutes attracted audiences more as the two teams competed fiercely for every point. However, China was more powerful. It closed the first set with 25- 16.

In the second set, China quickly controlled the game. It scored first and widened the gap to 10-2 in a very short time. ...
