Tornado injures 8 tourists in southern Turkey

ANKARA, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- A tornado that formed after torrential rains wounded eight tourists in southern Turkey on Saturday, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported Sunday.

The twister swept the Alanya town of southern Antalya province, shattering the windows of a hotel and injuring eight tourists sitting at the lobby, the report said.
