J. (Francis) McCarthy III, of Auburn, born in Boston, formerly of
Los Angeles, CA, Yakima, WA, Orlando, FL, West Simsbury, CT and
Ossining, NY, passed away on September 8th at home. Loving husband
of Penelope Gould-McCarthy, adoring father of Emily McCarthy of
Reston, VA and devoted brother of Joanne (McCarthy) Dermont,
Kathleen F. McCarthy, Peggi McCarthy and Dr. Daniel G. McCarthy;
beloved step-father of Benjamin and wife JoAnn (Gargan) Gould,
Lillian (Gould) and husband Thaddeus Kreuger, and Joseph Gould.
