The Federal Reserve yesterday named Henri A. Termeer, chief
executive of Cambridge biotechnology firm Genzyme Corp., as chairman
of the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
Termeer, now deputy chairman, will take over leadership of the
board in 2010, succeeding Lisa M. Lynch, dean and professor of
