McJunkin Red Man buys distributor
McJunkin Red Man Corp. announced it has entered into an agreement
to acquire Transmark Fcx Group, a distributor of specialty valves
and flow control equipment based in the United Kingdom.
Transmark has a network of 45 distribution and service facilities
in the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Australia, New
Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
McJunkin Red Man is headquartered in Houston, Tex., and has
corporate offices in Tulsa, Okla., and Charleston. McJunkin Red Man
is the largest distributor of industrial pipe, valves and fittings
in North America, with more than 3,700 employees and more than 250
locations.
