Lemont, Ill. -- Tiger Woods measures success by victories in the major championships and he went 0 for 4 this year.

Still, after destroying Cog Hill Golf & Country Club and trampling an elite PGA Tour field at the BMW Championship, Woods said his six-victory season ranked among his best.

"Absolutely, it's one of my best years," he said Sunday. "There's no doubt about that. I haven't won as many times as I did in 2000 and I didn't win any majors this year, but certainly I've never had a year where I've been this consistent."

Woods was at his dominant best at Cog Hill, following his course- record 62 in the third round with a closing 68 and cruising to an eight-shot victory ...
