City kicks off National Hispanic Heritage Month

The City of Rochester held a ceremony Tuesday at City Hall to mark the beginning of National Hispanic Heritage Month in Rochester.

Mayor Robert J. Duffy read a proclamation declaring Rochester's recognition of Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 as National Hispanic Heritage Month. City workers also revealed the 23 national flags of Latin America, which were unfurled from the mezzanines overlooking the atrium.
