Hotel Missoni

The vertical lines and curvy facade of Rosita Missoni's first
hotel overlook the medieval Royal Mile - with sister establishments
in Kuwait, Oman and Brazil on the way...
Designer Rosita Missoni, 78, who took the brand to brilliance in
the 1960s, is in charge of the hotels, but she is currently grooming
her grandchildren to take over the family business.
Main features While Swiss 'eco-tect' Matteo Thun assisted with
the building's exterior, Missoni kitted out the interior in her
inimitable clashing style, with stripes and zigzags on the sofas and
scatter cushions. Be sure to sample a Negroni in the funky circular
