Flight to Boston diverted back to airport

An American Airlines flight from Miami to Boston was diverted back to Miami International Airport last night because of a security concern, an airline spokesman said. The 168 passengers and six crew members aboard Flight 1640 left the Miami airport at 9:31 and returned about 45 minutes later, spokesman Billy Sanez said. A spokesman for the Miami airport said a note was found in the lavatory suggesting an explosive was onboard.
