Go Greek in Pueblo

Pueblo goes Greek when St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church brings back the popular Greek Festival in Pueblo on Saturday and Sept. 20. Held on the grassy grounds of the historical church, the festival features - you guessed it - Greek food, specialty booths, live entertainment and free admission.

The foods are crafted on-site, and include gyros, shish kebabs, french fries and ever-popular pastries such as baklava, kourabiethes (powdered sugar cookies) and doughnuts. The pastries are handmade by members of the church community using recipes that have been passed down through generations.
