Article: Hiller hangs tough in Big Ten losses, but not at full strength

It has not been the start the Western Michigan football team wanted for its 2009 season, but Orrville graduate and Broncos' quarterback Tim Hiller has still posted solid numbers in the first two games of the season.

The senior has thrown for 525 yards so far and has completed 62 precent of his passes in losses to Big Ten schools Michigan (31-7) and Indiana (23-19).

Even though his numbers are good, WMU coach Bill Cubit told the Kalamazoo Gazette that his star QB is still not feeling 100 percent after a January surgery to repair an ACL tear in his left knee.
