Former University of Oklahoma Sooners and Dallas Cowboys coach Barry Switzer is up for another well-deserved honor. He'll be recognized Oct. 1 in Tulsa with the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum Jasmine Award. The award is presented once every two years to a person who has given extraordinary service to the children of Oklahoma. Certainly, Barry has earned such an honor.

Previous honorees include Cathy Keating, David and Molly Boren, Kim Henry, George and Donna Nigh and Gene Rainbolt (who's celebrating his 80th birthday Friday night with Willie Nelson).
