Article: OKC-based Graymark Healthcare grows niche market, acquiring yet another sleep diagnostic center

Graymark Healthcare Inc., an Oklahoma City-based medical holding company, recently acquired another sleep diagnostic center - the latest in a strategy to bring high-standard facilities into its fold.

This week, Graymark purchased Avastra Eastern Sleep Centers Inc. from Avastra USA for $2.5 million - $1.1 million in cash and $1.36 million in stock, said Joe Harroz, president and chief operating officer of Graymark. Avastra, with sleep centers in New York and Florida, is a division of Avastra Sleep Centres Ltd., a public company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. Avastra's name will now change to Nocturna East Inc.
