Laurel: To Pittsburgh's public safety planners. Thrown the
greatest challenge of the city's modern era, Public Safety Director
Michael Huss & Co. appear to have designed a solid and prudent plan
to balance next week's G-20 security needs with the need to maintain
what commerce hasn't already decided to close shop or otherwise flee
for two or more days. But, more importantly, the plan takes great
pains to keep commerce flowing around the restricted zone that will
be the Golden Triangle.
