Washington's Adrian Fenty is a young, dynamic African American
mayor with a national profile. Newark's Cory Booker is a young,
dynamic African American mayor with a national profile. So it was
fun to see the two politicians at Wednesday's screening of "Brick
City," a film about Booker's efforts to clean up his city.
"Imagine my excitement when I heard this documentary was about a
tall, good-looking, bald-headed mayor," Fenty deadpanned to the
crowd.
"I do love when we're standing next to each other, so people will
know we are not the same person," Booker replied with a grin.
