Article: Novel Explores Holocaust Discussing, Signing, Reading Writers Talk About Writing Poets At Home And At Large Author Wins Silver Award National Book Festival A Go

It's a leap to go from writing articles for medical journals to writing a novel about the Holocaust.

Retired Lancaster physician Berel Arrow, 71, made that leap recently by penning "God's Water."

Arrow read extensively about the Holocaust and wanted to make some statements about this period in history, according to his press release. He will sign his 154-page book 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Borders Book Shop and 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at Lancaster Jewish Community Center, 2120 Oregon Pike.
