Article: Foundation grants $66,600 for recreation

The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation Board of Trustees approved nine grants, totaling $66,600, for its Land Use and Recreation Cycle.

The Land Use and Recreation Cycle is the last grant cycle for this year. Those wishing to apply for a grant next year in the areas of education, arts and culture, health and human services, and land use and recreation, should visit the foundation's Web site at www.tgkvf.org.

The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life and promote philanthropy in the Kanawha Valley. It serves a six-county region that includes Kanawha, Putnam, Clay, Fayette, Lincoln, and Boone counties.
