Article: SPORTSDAY Positive feedback loses out

After the Cincinnati Bengals took a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter Sunday, CBS-TV analyst Rich Gannon searched for something positive to say about their opponent, the Green Bay Packers.

Gannon came up emptier than a pint of Guinness on St. Patrick's Day.

"The difference in this game, offensively the Packers' pass protection," Gannon said. "At issue once again was their inability to run the ball. They kind of shot themselves in the foot with penalties and dropped balls. They have been sloppy on both sides of the ball."
