A larger cast, domination of the recent head-to-head matchup, a
program with a litany of recent success - pick the advantage that
made Hartford the heavy favorite against Oconomowoc in the teams'
football meeting Friday.
Now, add a 14-0 Orioles lead, and a Raccoons win suddenly looks
like the shocker of the year.
"Our kids believed all week long," said coach Ryan McMillen. "We
just talk how we're going to be outnumbered, 2-1, in everything -
players, coaches, managers, trainers. They've got more, and they're
probably bigger. We knew what we were getting into."
Brady Nold's 68-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter capped a run
of 19 unanswered points, and Oconomowoc emerged ...
