Article: Quincy continues to thrive with economic diversity

Over at the former Fore River shipyard, local dignitaries gathered Sept. 1 behind a torpedo-shaped yellow robot to hail the pending relocation of Cambridge's Bluefin Robotics and its 80 jobs.

The next week, a crowd of well-dressed people gathered at a construction site at the bottom of Crown Colony Drive to witness the start of foundation work on a new BJ's Wholesale Club store. When it opens next spring, the store will employ at least 150 people.

Then, on Thursday, Icelandair flung open its new Crown Colony office to the public, showing off a North American headquarters where 30 people are based.
