Second suspect pleads guilty in Canada terror plot

OTTAWA, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- A second suspect has pleaded guilty to a terrorism charge in relation to the 2006 terror plot in Canada's Toronto where 18 people were arrested.

Ali Mohamed Dirie, 26, pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of participating in the activities of a terrorist group, said the Public Prosecution Service of Canada Tuesday in a statement.
